I almost died today.
On the way home from church, my car started acting up on the Bay Bridge. I didn't know what the heck was going on except that my gears were messed up somehow. At first, there were these little kicks that gave my car little boosts. I didn't think much of that... But after a while, the car started jolting; it was like I was manually shifting from second gear to first while going 50-60 mph. Every time my car jolted, I would suddenly be thrown forward. You can imagine I was scared, because there was no way to stop on the Bay Bridge and cars were zooming by while I slowed down to prevent the jolting. I prayed a little prayer to God to protect me, and thankfully I made it home safe.
Now let me tell you about what Steve Noh did. To get to Telegraph, you have to exit 51st off the 24 freeway. But it gets a little complicated, and you pretty much need to immediately merge right so you can make the exit. I was going extremely slow because my car was messed up. This guy, Mr. Snohman, would not let me in to the right lanes, stinkin' forcing me to get off at the next exit. Before they exited, I saw Steve and Dennis laugh their heads off while I was crapping my pants.
I finally made it home, and Charles, Eugene, John, and Paul told me what was wrong with my car and helped me park my car in my garage. Apparently, my transmission is shot... You know, for all the trouble that my car put me through, I was glad that I have friends who could help me in my time of need. Sure, it wasn't much to inform me what was wrong with my car and help me push my car into the garage, but I was still thankful...
Happy Easter, everyone!
